Your tasks

  • Certification and regulatory compliance
  • Coordinate certification processes (CSA, UL, CE, AHRI) in order to ensure equipment compliance with applicable standards.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation related to certifications in order to support regulatory compliance.
  • Support engineering teams during new product development in order to ensure compliance from the design stage.
  • Monitor regulatory developments in order to ensure compliance with current standards.
  • Quality control – Production and compliance
  • Develop and maintain quality control procedures in order to ensure manufactured product compliance.
  • Verify equipment compliance with internal, regulatory, and customer requirements.
  • Ensure the quality and compliance of documentation related to inspections and final testing.
  • Participate in internal and external audits in order to support company quality standards.
  • Technical documentation
  • Maintain technical files, test reports, and certificates in order to ensure complete and compliant documentation.
  • Prepare audit reports and validation documents in order to support quality processes.
  • Ensure document control according to applicable quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
  • Cross-functional collaboration
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and purchasing teams in order to ensure product quality and compliance.
  • Participate in technical meetings with certification organizations and selected clients in order to support projects and certifications.
  • Perform other related tasks.

Your background and your strengths

Are you the person we’re looking for?

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in product compliance and certification.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or other relevant discipline).
  • Good knowledge of standards applicable to refrigeration systems (CSA, UL, CE, ASHRAE, AHRI, etc.).
  • Proficiency with quality tools (SPC, audits, CAPA) and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent command of spoken and written French.
  • Understanding of thermodynamic and electrical systems (an asset).
  • Attention to detail, adaptability, and strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
