Here, your mission as a Mechanical Assembler will allow you to assemble and prepare mechanical components while supporting manufacturing operations in order to deliver high-performance refrigeration systems that meet our quality standards.

Your tasks

  • Prepare, install, and reassemble mechanical components in order to ensure equipment compliance and proper operation.
  • Read and interpret assembly drawings and schematics in order to perform work accurately.
  • Perform mechanical connections using flexible Gomax piping in order to ensure reliable and safe assemblies.
  • Complete mechanical connections using galvanized steel piping and Swagelok compression fittings in order to meet installation standards.
  • Perform TIG welding on piping supports in order to ensure structural strength and reliability.
  • Monitor assembly progress and validate component orientation in order to ensure equipment compliance.
  • Identify and resolve assembly issues in order to maintain a high level of quality.
  • Assist with shipment preparation in order to ensure equipment compliance prior to delivery.
  • Perform pressure testing in order to validate system tightness and integrity.
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and team members in order to improve assembly processes.
  • Perform other related tasks.

Your background and your strengths

Are you the person we’re looking for?

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical work or mechanical assembly.
  • Relevant experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and schematics.
  • Strong manual dexterity and attention to quality workmanship.
  • Resourcefulness, autonomy, and ability to work as part of a team.
  • TIG welding experience (an asset).

  • Full-time
  • Permanent
  • Monday to Thursday, or Tuesday to Friday
  • 40 hours a week, 10 hours per day
Salary:

From $26.00 to $36.00 per hour
