Here, your mission as a Refrigeration Designer will allow you to design and estimate custom refrigeration solutions while developing optimal technical proposals in order to contribute to high-performing, cost-effective projects tailored to our clients’ needs.

Your tasks
- Communicate with clients and representatives to understand and define project requirements.
- Develop preliminary designs for factory-built units and complete systems integrating equipment from external suppliers.
- Prepare preliminary refrigeration equipment and system diagrams.
- Select refrigeration system components based on project requirements.
- Request quotations for selected equipment and evaluate the technical aspects of supplier proposals.
- Review and validate shop drawings, equipment, and components according to design criteria.
- Prepare preliminary material lists.
- Estimate manufacturing costs, including components, labour time, and materials.
- Prepare engineering deliverables required for proposal submissions.
- Draft detailed proposals outlining technical solutions and cost estimates.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of the equipment catalogue.
- Participate in the development of new internal tools and processes.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Your background and your strengths
Are you the person we’re looking for?
- Experience in the refrigeration industry (an asset).
- Knowledge of AutoCAD software (an asset).
- Studies in building mechanics, industrial drafting, or building design (an asset).
- DEC in Building Mechanics or Building Engineering, or a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Engineering (an asset).
- Training in CAD (an asset).
- Excellent command of French, both spoken and written.
- Strong adaptability in a dynamic environment.
- Commitment, integrity, reliability, respect, and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
