Here, your mission as an HVAC/R Service Refrigeration Technician will be to diagnose, maintain, and restart industrial HVAC/R systems while collaborating with the technical team to ensure the reliability, safety, and performance of our clients’ installations.

Your tasks
- Work on industrial systems using NH₃, CO₂, and HFC refrigerants to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical failures to restore equipment to service quickly and efficiently.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to extend the lifespan of installations.
- Repair and maintain NH₃ reciprocating and screw compressors to ensure their reliability and performance (training provided if required).
- Install or replace components such as compressors, condensers, motors, and heat exchangers to maintain system compliance and efficiency.
- Read and interpret technical plans and schematics to carry out work accurately.
- Perform adjustments, testing, commissioning, and final start-ups to ensure industrial system performance.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to optimize service practices and field interventions.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Your background and your strengths
- Completed DEP in Refrigeration.
- Valid CCQ journeyman competency card.
- Relevant experience in HVAC/R service, maintenance, or controls.
- Valid H1 environmental certification (asset).
- Valid driver’s license.
- Autonomy, resourcefulness, and ability to work on the road.
- Strong interest in NH3 and CO₂ refrigeration systems.
