As our Technical Supervisor – HVAC/R Service, you will serve as the technical reference for our team of refrigeration technicians. Your mission will be to provide technical guidance, ensure the quality of field interventions, and contribute to the ongoing development of our team’s skills and expertise.

Your tasks
Technical leadership
- Provide technical support to technicians during complex diagnostics and repairs.
- Assist in resolving advanced technical issues.
- Conduct field visits to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to best practices.
- Promote and enforce health and safety standards.
- Review service reports and follow up on interventions requiring special attention when needed.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of work methods, processes, and quality standards.
- Support technicians during strategic service calls with customers.
Training, coaching, and development
- Support the onboarding and integration of new employees.
- Act as a mentor and coach to refrigeration technicians.
- Identify technical training needs.
- Encourage knowledge sharing and the adoption of best practices.
- Participate in employee development and performance evaluations.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Your background and your strengths
- DEP in Refrigeration or equivalent training.
- Valid Refrigeration Mechanic competency certificate.
- 8 to 10 years of experience in the HVAC/R industry.
- Previous experience in supervision, coordination, or mentoring is considered an asset.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Positive leadership with a coaching-oriented approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good knowledge of computer applications and service management software.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage priorities.
- Customer-focused mindset.
- Team player with sound decision-making abilities.
- Passion for developing others and sharing technical knowledge.
