At Sertech Électrique, you will work on stimulating projects within a rapidly growing company. Since 2008, we have been providing consulting, installation, integration, and dispatching services for the industrial and commercial electrical sectors across Quebec. We are also the electrical division of Zéro-C!

Here, your mission as an Apprentice Electrician or Journeyman Electrician will allow you to contribute to a wide range of electrical projects and support the installation and maintenance of electrical systems in order to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality operations for our clients.

Your tasks

  • Read and interpret electrical plans and specifications to ensure work is completed accurately.
  • Assist with the installation of new electrical equipment in industrial and commercial environments.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues and equipment failures using appropriate testing instruments.
  • Ensure all work complies with the Electrical Code and applicable standards.
  • Interpret electrical code requirements and verify the compliance of installations.
  • Complete assigned work according to established priorities and equipment availability.
  • Communicate project and work progress to relevant stakeholders.
  • Apply health and safety best practices at all times, including lockout/tagout procedures.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Your background and your strengths

  • DEP in electricity.
  • Valid CCQ competency card, 3rd/4th year or Journeyman.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and strong team spirit.
