Here, your mission as an Automation Designer will be to develop reliable automation architectures and produce high-quality electrical drawings while supporting the successful implementation of our refrigeration control systems. Your work will directly contribute to the performance, efficiency, and reliability of our installations.

Your tasks
- Design and modify electrical schematics (power, control, and instrumentation) to ensure the compliance and reliability of installations.
- Produce control panel layout drawings to support efficient assembly and integration processes.
- Create PLC architecture and automation network drawings to facilitate structured and efficient programming.
- Update existing drawings to accurately reflect field modifications and project changes.
- Assist in preparing bills of materials (BOMs) to ensure accurate procurement and project execution.
- Verify drawing compliance with applicable standards (CSA, IEC, etc.) to maintain industry requirements.
- Collaborate with engineers, programmers, and technicians to ensure technical consistency across projects.
- Support production teams during manufacturing and commissioning phases by assisting with technical adjustments and troubleshooting.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Your background and your strengths
Are you the person we’re looking for?
- DEP, AEC, or DEC in Electrical Engineering Technology, Industrial Automation, or a related field.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar role (an asset).
- Proficiency with electrical design software such as AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or SEE Electrical.
- Good knowledge of PLC systems and industrial automation concepts.
- Knowledge of industrial electrical standards and regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation.
- Strong attention to detail, autonomy, and organizational skills.
