Your tasks
- Clean floors, carpets, surfaces, windows, common areas, and restrooms to maintain a clean and compliant environment;
- Keep cafeterias clean and welcoming for employees;
- Manage waste, recycling, and compost to ensure proper and responsible disposal;
- Replenish sanitary and cleaning supplies to avoid service interruptions;
- Disinfect high-touch areas (handles, railings, bathrooms, furniture) to reduce contamination risks;
- Monitor cleaning supply inventory and report shortages;
- Report any maintenance issues or anomalies to help maintain safe and functional facilities;
- Properly use and maintain cleaning equipment to ensure performance and durability;
- Follow health and safety standards (PPE, WHMIS/SIMDUT, ergonomics) to ensure a safe work environment;
- Assist with deep cleaning tasks and respond to special requests as needed;
- Maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times;
- Perform other related duties as required.
Your background and your strengths
Are you the person we’re looking for?
- Relevant experience in cleaning, commercial, or institutional housekeeping;
- Knowledge of health and safety standards (WHMIS/SIMDUT) – training provided if needed;
- Autonomy and strong organizational skills;
- Attention to detail and thoroughness;
