Here, your mission as a Payroll Technician will allow you to manage the complete payroll process and support regulatory payroll requirements in order to ensure accurate, compliant, and efficient payroll operations for all employees.

Your tasks
- Process payroll for approximately 240 employees in order to ensure accurate payments and compliance with deadlines.
- Collect, analyze, and validate employee timesheets in order to properly allocate hours by project.
- Complete the full payroll cycle, including data entry, verification, and payroll processing, in order to ensure data accuracy.
- Respect the three-day weekly payroll cycle in order to maintain efficient and structured payroll operations.
- Interpret and apply the institutional and commercial collective agreement in order to ensure payroll compliance.
- Stay up to date with regulatory and collective agreement changes in order to maintain compliant payroll practices.
- Prepare and support the production of RBQ, CCQ, RRSP, and other payroll-related regulatory reports.
- Monitor vacation files and wellness days in order to maintain accurate employee records.
- Perform various related administrative tasks in order to support payroll operations.
Your background and your strengths
Are you the person we’re looking for?
- High school diploma.
- Relevant training or experience in payroll or administration.
- Experience in construction payroll (strong asset).
- Knowledge of the institutional and commercial collective agreement (asset).
- Knowledge of Maestro ERP software (asset).
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent command of spoken and written French.
- Strong attention to detail, autonomy, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and rigor.
