Your tasks
- Establish and maintain effective communication among all project team members.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients and ensure their satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate the successful execution of work on job sites in collaboration with foremen.
- Prepare contracts, documentation, and project deliverables.
- Clearly communicate the scope of work to all stakeholders involved.
- Develop and monitor project schedules and deliverables.
- Identify potential risks and implement appropriate solutions.
- Place orders with suppliers and approve supplier and subcontractor invoices.
- Manage project invoicing and budget tracking.
- Monitor schedule progress and implement required adjustments.
- Participate in implementing solutions aimed at continuous improvement and operational savings.
- Prepare project performance and project close-out reports.
- Prepare warranty letters and required technical documentation.
- Participate in project file archiving and lessons learned sharing.
- Perform any other duties related to the position.
Your background and your strengths
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management.
- Education in Building Mechanical Systems (significant asset).
- Excellent ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong ability to work under pressure while meeting priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong ability to read plans, specifications, and technical documents.
- Experience in cost estimation and budget management.
- Proven leadership skills and strong commitment to quality workmanship.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Any relevant combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French.
