Your tasks

  • Define and align the overall HR strategy with the company’s business objectives.
  • Act as a trusted advisor by providing expertise and guidance on all human resources matters.
  • Lead, coach, develop, and support the performance of the HR team (3 employees).
  • Oversee the full spectrum of human resources processes and activities.
  • Provide strategic guidance on HR priorities, objectives, and initiatives.
  • Partner with directors and managers to optimize team performance and employee engagement.
  • Develop and implement training and development plans to support employee growth.
  • Ensure the HR team provides effective support and guidance to front-line managers.
  • Foster a work environment that promotes employee retention, well-being, and engagement.
  • Maintain a strong presence in the field to understand operational realities and employee needs.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable labour laws and HR regulations.
  • Continue strengthening the company culture and serve as a key ambassador of organizational values.
  • Lead and define HR marketing initiatives in collaboration with the company’s marketing agency.
  • Develop workforce planning strategies and innovative recruitment initiatives to support business growth.
  • Perform other related administrative duties as required.

Your background and your strengths

Are you the person we’re looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in human resources management, ideally within a manufacturing environment or SME.
  • Ability to operate effectively at both strategic and operational levels.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to build lasting relationships based on trust.
  • People-oriented approach with a strong presence on the floor and within teams.
  • Sound judgment and ability to recommend solutions aligned with organizational needs and growth objectives.
  • High emotional intelligence combined with strong listening and interpersonal skills.
  • Adaptability and comfort working in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
  • CRHA designation is considered an asset.
