Your tasks
- Define and align the overall HR strategy with the company’s business objectives.
- Act as a trusted advisor by providing expertise and guidance on all human resources matters.
- Lead, coach, develop, and support the performance of the HR team (3 employees).
- Oversee the full spectrum of human resources processes and activities.
- Provide strategic guidance on HR priorities, objectives, and initiatives.
- Partner with directors and managers to optimize team performance and employee engagement.
- Develop and implement training and development plans to support employee growth.
- Ensure the HR team provides effective support and guidance to front-line managers.
- Foster a work environment that promotes employee retention, well-being, and engagement.
- Maintain a strong presence in the field to understand operational realities and employee needs.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labour laws and HR regulations.
- Continue strengthening the company culture and serve as a key ambassador of organizational values.
- Lead and define HR marketing initiatives in collaboration with the company’s marketing agency.
- Develop workforce planning strategies and innovative recruitment initiatives to support business growth.
- Perform other related administrative duties as required.
Your background and your strengths
Are you the person we’re looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in human resources management, ideally within a manufacturing environment or SME.
- Ability to operate effectively at both strategic and operational levels.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to build lasting relationships based on trust.
- People-oriented approach with a strong presence on the floor and within teams.
- Sound judgment and ability to recommend solutions aligned with organizational needs and growth objectives.
- High emotional intelligence combined with strong listening and interpersonal skills.
- Adaptability and comfort working in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
- CRHA designation is considered an asset.
